How can I make a cake that looks like a gas tank of the motorcycle?
I use the Wilton pan swollen heart, cut by half, and use them as the sides of the tank. Or a teardrop cake pan and then cut the cake to make it more rounded. I'm trying to do it in 3-D. It will be covered with fondant for the groom's cake. Thank you. I never before in the form of a cake. I imagine it would be difficult to get round the lines of a gas tank cutting the cake. But then again ... What do I know?
I would say just do a regular square cake and cut the outline of a tank of gas, then decorate.
