How do you make shadowbox charms for chunky jewelry?
The kind i'm talking about can be seen at www.likearhinestonecowgirl.com. I would love to know how to make these oversized, chunky pendants/charms but don't know how to start. The necklace I own looks like it's got some kind of thin metal as a base and maybe resin to make the clear overlay??
You may find some cool clunky acrylic beads from here: http://www.firemountaingems.com/plastic_beads.asp?navsrc=2 . They have charms also.
You can also make beads also out of clay (air dry or oven set) and cover them with mod podge to give them a shine.
Sounds like fun.
